OSB is oriented strand board, which is an upgrade of traditional particleboard products. Its mechanical properties are more directional, durable, moisture-resistant, and dimensionally stable than ordinary particleboard. It has a small expansion coefficient, no deformation, good stability, uniform material and high nailing performance.  Oriented strand board (OSB), also known as particleboard, sterling board and aspenite in British English, It is a type of engineered wood similar to particleboard,which is formed by adding an adhesive and then compressing it A layer of wood wire (lamellae) in a specific direction. It was invented in California in 1963 by Armin Elmendorf. OSB/2 - Load-bearing plates used in dry conditions OSB/3 - Load-bearing plates for use in wet conditions OSB/4 - Heavy duty bearing plate for use in wet conditions .
